Certified Data Protection Professional – Module C.DPO.DA.

This course is directed towards specialization as a Data Protection Officer or a Data Auditor in India. This is also recommended for experienced data protection professionals.

The C.DPO.DA. course combines three programmes

• Module I on Indian law (DPDPA)
• Module G on Global Laws 
• Module A on Audit skills. 

Module – I on Indian law (DPDPA)

This course is designed to provide knowledge about the Indian Data Protection law as of date. Presently the Information Technology Act 2000 as amended in 2008 provides the data protection provisions.

Module G on Global Laws 

The Course objective is to provide the necessary knowledge about Global Data Protection laws including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, Singapore CCPA etc. This is considered essential for Data Protection Professionals in India who are typically handling personal data processing not only from India but from many countries in other data protection regions.

This programme comprises the following topics:

Module A on Audit Skills

CDPP Module-A is considered as the “Lead Auditor Certification Program for PDPCSI Audits” and for developing the skill sets for being a “Data Auditor” under DPDPB 2023.

This program covers the general Data Audit skills along with a detailed coverage of PDPCSI with a brief coverage to audits under ISO 27001 and ISO 27701.

We hope this will provide an all round exposure to the trainees to handle both audits related to international data protection laws as well as the Indian law.

 Each module is an aggregation of multiple videos and reference content including knowledge checks to improve learning outcomes. 

Users can take the recorded sessions at their convenience. They will be supported by mentoring sessions to be scheduled on mutual appointment.

All participants will get participation certificates for attending the program. 

Certifications

Those who take up the Certification Examination of FDPPI for Certification (Examination Fee would be separate from training fee) and pass the examination, will get the full certification from FDPPI.
